The Distiller’s Cottage
Sleeps 2 — 4
£100 per night
Airy and characterful, the Distiller’s Cottage sleeps four with room for a cot. The cottage has a vaulted ceiling, exposed original wooden beams and a modern specification that will ensure your stay here is a memorable and comfortable one.
Upstairs in the crog loft our king size ‘bed in the clouds’ is an enveloping, hand-built box bed, set below a Velux window that offers incredible views of the wildflower meadow – where we forage many of our gin botanicals – and the stars from your pillow at night.
Downstairs hosts the second bedroom, offering a further two single beds which can be configured as twins or a super king. There is a large open-plan living area with a comfortable sofa, overlooking the meadows and Cardigan Bay, and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is also a modern shower room which has a double shower, wash basin, toilet, and heated towel rail.
The sunset over the sea has to be seen to be believed, with large double doors soaking the living room in heavy golden light and inviting you outside to stare across the meadows at Cardigan Bay’s most memorable sight.
In the garden there is an outdoor eating area and patio with table, chairs and sun loungers.
ACCESS: There are steps between the kitchen and bathroom, and the bed is reached by wooden stairs. It is a traditional crog loft-style king size bed with access on one side only. There are steps down to the garden from the backdoor with no guard rail.
